Pinecone

This document describes the Dataworkz connector configuration required to access Pinecone.

Prerequisite

Pinecone should have been configured before creating connector in Dataworkz for the same.

• Login to https://app.pinecone.io/

• Click Project from the top menu and select the appropriate project from the list

• Click API Keys from the left menu

• 
• Click "Create API Key" if new key is needed or select the appropriate one from the list. Copy the key as the same would be needed while configuring Dataworkz

• Click "Settings" from the top menu and then click "Projects" from the left menu

  • Copy "Project ID" for the appropriate project as the same would be needed while configuring Dataworkz

Creating Pinecone Configuration in Dataworkz

1. Login to Dataworkz Application

2. Goto Configuration -> Databases -> Pinecone

3. Click the + icon to add a new configuration

4. 
5. Enter name of the database configuration in the above screen

6. Enter the Pinecone Api key (check Prerequisite section about finding the same)

7. Click Test Connection

   1. If successful click Save to add the connector
