Convert Operation

Converts numeric values to a String, Boolean, or Date type.

Convert operations are available under Convert > in the Numeric column context menu.

Numeric Convert sub-operations

Convert To String

Converts each numeric value to its string representation.

Convert To String configuration

Field	Description
Create New Column	When enabled, writes the converted value to a new column. Enabled by default.
Column Name	The name of the new column.

Convert To Boolean

Converts each numeric value to a boolean. Typically 0 maps to false and any non-zero value maps to true.

Convert To Date

Converts each numeric value to a Date or Timestamp by parsing it using a specified format string.

Convert To Date configuration

Field	Description
Input Format	The date format string describing how the numeric value should be interpreted (e.g., yyyyMMdd, yyyy-MM-dd).
Data Type	The target data type: Date, Timestamp, or other supported date types.
Create New Column	When enabled, writes the converted value to a new column. Enabled by default.
Column Name	The name of the new column.
