Mask Operation

Masks numeric values — either fully replacing the entire value or partially masking a character range.

Masks the value of the input numeric field to produce a deterministic, privacy-safe output.

Full Masking

Replaces the entire numeric value with XXXX.

⚠️ Warning: Full masking makes a permanent change to the column data.

Partial Masking

Masks the numeric value between the specified character indexes, replacing that range with mask characters.

Field	Description
Start From Index	The character index at which masking begins (inclusive).
End At Index	The character index at which masking ends (exclusive).
