AWS Bedrock

Dataworkz allows using LLM models that are configured for AWS Bedrock.

Prerequisite

Before setting up Bedrock usage in Dataworkz, the same needs to be configured in AWS. Follow the steps provided below for the purpose (alternatively Bedrock documentation - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/bedrock/latest/userguide/getting-started.html provides the necessary details).

  • Loging to AWS and navigate to AWS Bedrock

  • Select "Model Access" from the left menu

  • Click "Modify Model Access" and select the models that need to be included.

  • Click "Next", review the changes and "Submit"

  • Goto IAM and select the User which needs to be provided the permissions for "Bedrock"

  • Add "AmazonBedrockFullAccess" permission to the user

  • Goto "Security credentials" tab and "Create access key" unless it already exists. Keep the copy of Key and Secret for further configuration in Dataworkz.
