UI Query

The Filter 'UI query' simplifies the Filter Query from a manual text box input, to a drop down selection box format.

UI Query 'Conditions':

-Equals (=)

-Does not Equal (!=)

-Starts With

-Ends With

-Contains

-Is Null

-Is Blank

-Is Not Null

-Is Not Blank

UI Query 'Results':

-Any existing column header in the dataset

-Constant (this will add another drop down box to put the constant in)

How to use the UI Query:

  1. After entering the dataset view, click transform, and below the quick links, you will see a filter button. Click it

  2. Choose the UI Query bubble, and pick the field for filtering

  3. Click the pencil icon to add a 'condition and result', if needed, hit the plus to add more 'conditions and results' to the field

  4. When done, hit 'OK'

  5. You can hit the plus next to the field name to add another field for filtering

  6. Once you have completed your filter conditions hit 'OK' again to apply to the dataset
